FileZilla Server 1.x isn't a simple update from 0.9.x, but a completely new software, rewritten from scratch. So, it is essentially a change to a different Server software, with settings migration.

Will There be a 32bit version of FileZilla Server?
In the foreseeable future, 64bit support will become mandatory. Some statistics of the current Windows users, taken from users of the client (I have no reason to believe server usage-share is different in this regard): 64-bit Windows: 98.14%. 32-bit Windows with 64-bit CPU: 1.80%. 32-bit Windows on 32-bit CPU: 0.06%.

Location of the settings file (FileZilla.xml)?
The 0.9.x"FileZilla Server.xml" is in the Program Files directory where FZ Server 0.9.x is installed. But the location of the user config files from the new version (groups.xml and users.xml) depends on how you run it. For the default"installed as service, running under user SYSTEM" install, it would be. No support requests over PM!

So you just select Explicit as Encryption setting, with FTP as the protocol. While FTPES and FTPS are extensions of the FTP protocol, SFTP is a completely different one, based on SSH. The server replies: Yes. Then, FileZilla actually attempts to use FTP over TLS and the server craps out, because it is not properly configured despite saying so. Solution: The server should either properly support FTP over TLS, or tell FileZilla that it doesn't support it (by denying the AUTH command).

Admin TLS Certificate Expired - FileZilla Forums
FileZilla server stopped last night. Downloaded and installed x64 nightly build, 2022-11-21. Noticed that at least one FTP client no longer had the correct password. Also noticed that apparently the Administration TLS Certificate has Expired: You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Update produces"503 use AUTH first" - FileZilla Forums
Upon installing 1.3.0. on windows 10, the new version had to be allowed through the windows firewall, the server itself had to be reestablished in Filezilla, but all user/pass and their respected paths carried over from the old version. However, when I attempt to connect, Filezilla server refuses the connection citing"503 use AUTH first".
